Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess an MBA or CFA from an HEC-recognized university or institute. A minimum of three years of professional experience is required, particularly in areas such as sell-side equity research, buy-side equity research, corporate finance, or investment banking.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analyses of potential equity investments. This role involves assessing market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to identify viable investment opportunities. The analyst will be tasked with developing sophisticated financial models to predict the future performance of these investments.
The analyst will monitor and evaluate the performance of existing strategic investments, ensuring regular reporting and updates to relevant stakeholders. Periodic reviews and risk assessments of the investment portfolio will be conducted to maintain alignment with strategic goals. Collaboration with various internal teams, including finance, risk management, and legal, is crucial to ensure that all due diligence and compliance measures are thoroughly met.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess strong financial modeling and valuation skills, coupled with proficiency in financial analysis software and tools such as Bloomberg and Excel. Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities are essential, along with strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The role demands an individual who can work independently while also thriving in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
This position is based at the Head Office in Karachi, within the Finance Department.
