Position: Rector
Location: National Textile University, Faisalabad
Appointment Term: Four years
Salary: Professor’s salary package at Tenure Track System, along with other privileges and allowances applicable to public sector university Rectors/Vice Chancellors in Pakistan.
Role Overview: The Rector will serve as the Chief Executive of the University, responsible for all academic and administrative functions. The successful candidate will oversee the organization’s operations in alignment with the Board of Governors’ policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a Professor (as per HEC criteria) with a doctorate from an HEC-recognized, reputable university, preferably in Engineering.
- Demonstrated distinguished leadership in education, professional, and academic administration.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the textile industry, with a comprehensive understanding of higher education issues both nationally and internationally.
- Proven vision and ability to advance university functions, including leadership development and economic growth strategies.
Age Limit: Applicants should be no older than 65 years as of September 25, 2024.
